Yes, it was a pretty disappointing response by azircon to my legitimate questions as a lawyer and Hive witness.
I know many people have given up on Hive because of this sort of behaviour by certain people on Hive.
However, efforts are being made, by me and others to curb this behaviour.
Don't give up on fighting on Hive as well as using Blurt.
I have started being active on Blurt because of this sort of behaviour and I find quite a few people I followed on Hive here.
I'm quite interested in the social and technical experiment of Hive (downvotes & RC) vs Blurt (no downvotes and explicit charges for transactions).
I think there is room for them both in the true metaverse (the cryptocosm) of the future and that both will do well by giving choice to users.
Thanks for the comment, I must admit I thought your exchange with azircon was fascinating, you came out well on top, IMO. I have noted his abusive behaviour to other people like @lucylin regardless of what topic they post, it made me leave and many others, proof of stake and dpos downvotes for free is toxic, IMO and could be addressed if a downvote cost an upvote such behaviour may be eradicated, but I am not in a position to implement that.
Fighting for what exactly? The system was designed for exactly this. There are other ways to combat spam and theft than a theft downvote tool. This is exactly why things were set up this way, and much like a Stockholm syndrome victim, they have brainwashed everyone into parroting why stake pool theft is good for everyone while it is used as a club against innocents daily.
Fighting for the continuation of such a disrespectful system, of both stake ownership, free speech and just plain dignity is not something I wish to fight for. I would rather spend my time and resources in a positive environment like Blurt where such respect is built into the structure.
By the way, welcome to Blurt. I hope that the more you are exposed to the respect found here you will realize Hive/Steem is the flawed version of what should be, Blurt. :)
really?...interesting...
The fun has just begun, now mt posting/comments, free of the d/v BS...I've been playing very nice for the last 9 months.
Yes. It’s a Free World … people can post wherever they want.
True that.
