Species of swan
There are different species of swans. Among them the following species are commonly seen.
(1) Toulouse - heavy species of bird. French country bird. Among the heavy birds, they lay more eggs. But not all Toulouse birds lay eggs. Lips, legs are orange in color. Throat, belly and tail are white. Male weight - 14 kg, female - 9 kg.
(2) Emden: This bird is more common in Hanover, Germany. Heavy bird. Egg count is good. Much colder than other species of swans. Lips are bright orange. The legs are full of white feathers. Male weight 14 kg, female 9 kg.
(3) China: The swan of China. Smaller in size than Toulouse and Emden. Lays more eggs in number. About 60 a year. Used to give it in eggs. Two colored Chinese swans are seen. Khary and white. Khary colored Chinese swan legs are orange. The color of the lips and feathers is also not good. White swans have bright orange beaks and feet. Body feathers are pale white.
The skin at the base of the upper lip is round like a flower. Male weight is 9 kg, female weight is 8 kg. Chinese swans have a reputation as watchdogs.
Besides, there are some other species of swans. such as Africans. It is assumed that they are originally Indian. Some say they were created as a result of crossbreeding between China and Toulouse. source
