Useless? I wonder if for API use the Steem developer files are still the right manuals. Did you change the API. Do I have to know something special or is it still all right to read Steem manuals?

I thought you were talking about the Broadcast tab in the explorer. It's pretty useless now.
The Steem developer portal is still the right resource if you want to write some programs but with some changes.
Some of operators on the list are either disabled(claim account, create clam account, etc) or haven't implemented yet(account_update2)
Also I know the blurt team is working on a REST API soon, so will be many new stuffs coming. After everything is settle down, we are starting update the developer docs.
I tested Sign up as efrog and produced an error in the 3rd step payment. How? In a first attempt, i've let payment on default Credit and pressed submit.
Oooops! I like to pay by BLURT! While on the 4th screen already I went back (previous). But my username is gone on page #3, and there's no way to log the username again. I screwed up the Sign up. I do need a new username now, and that's a pitty.
The solution is easy, isn't it?
When you select a payment then submit, it creates an order and you can always come back and pay for the payment. If you like to use different payment method, you can create a new order. The username not taken if you don’t pay for it
As long as I am in the same Sign Up process as before, it doesn't work. There is no more username and when I fill it in, pressing submit, nothing happens. User doesn't know just to restart the process and if you make forward amd back buttons. the functions even have to go back and forward either. For users, especially the insecure ones. It's a situation of confusion and I don't know what to do now.. I have to write about. Thanks for the info.
efrog wasn't taken. you can restart the registration process and use different payment method.
Thanks. The case has to be solved in the right manner of guiding newbies and users. They have to move unambiguous through the whole process without any doubt. No matter what they are fiddeling around. They need to feel secure through the whole process.
I might add an option to allow them to change the payment method at the step 4
Sounds like the easiest way. Going back doesn't work proper. Why there is any backwards way? Better to write ''interrupt'' instead of ''previous''. Then they know, to start step one again.
Yes. This is the right step.
