As you well know, I am given to epic drawings and one of my fascinations is nice captures of soldiers in armor. I however don't draw these subjects much because of the fact that I love paying attention to details and the armors are usually with ornaments. This takes a lot of time to sketch and to many a great extent I try to avoid it. Take today's subject for instant, I had to restructure his headgear a bit as well as some parts of his armor. If I hadn't, it would have taken longer and there would be an absence of my contribution.
Truth be told, my brother Timothy drew this particular subject two years ago and upon seeing it again, I felt that spark to draw it. Just so I could see how well my technique would sit with it.
