扎心的现实 Heartbreaking Reality

Thirty years ago, college students were truly worthy of their reputation, giving the impression of being knowledgeable and refined. In short, they were different from ordinary people and enviable.

With the expansion of enrollment in universities and the rapid development of private education, almost all high school graduates can enter universities and colleges and become college students. But the quality level of college students nowadays is really different from that of college students thirty years ago.

In the early 1980s, during the reform and opening up, many companies emerged and people engaged in business. There is a joke that if you throw a brick on the street, you can smash a manager or even the general manager. But now, throwing a brick on the street, you can potentially hit one or even two college students. College students are everywhere, but their overall quality has declined. If anyone claims to be a college student on the street now, people will definitely feel that this person has a brain problem, looking at him very weirdly.

A private university has been built next to my hometown village, and the tuition fees are naturally much higher than those of public universities. But those college students don't cherish it at all. On weekends, they take the bus to the city to eat, drink, and have fun, and they don't give up their seats to the elderly. They just look down and play mobile games.

There is also a private college near the residential area where I am living, and students come out to relax every weekend. On the armchair under the tree, couples of male and female students embrace each other as if there is no one around. There are also a few girls hiding under the rockery smoking.
Are the contemporary college students like this? Spending the hard-earned money of their parents, eating, drinking, dating, and having no intention of studying, they become unemployed upon graduation.

Thirty years ago, if a person had many friends, people would envy them and think that he was helpful, capable, and reliable. But now, if a person has many friends and can get along with everyone, people tend to think that such man is mostly a petty person.

Why is this happening? Because thirty years ago, friends were like-minded and came together based on their character, but now, many people come together because of their interests, which can be said to share the same rotten tastes. One is always speaking out of both sides of his mouth, and on the surface, there is a layer of peace and harmony. In fact, there is a lack of sincerity between people, leaving only exchange of interests and playing tricks on the spot.

With the changing times and social development, who will pay for this reality?

三十年前的大学生真的是名副其实的，给人的印象就是学识渊博、文质彬彬，总之，就是与普通人不一样，让人羡慕。

可随着高校的扩招以及民办教育如雨后春笋般的发展，几乎所有的高中毕业生都能进入大学校园成为一名大学生。可现在大学生的素质水平与三十年前的大学生真的不可同日而语了。

八十年代改革开放初期，出现了许多的公司及下海经商的人。有一个笑话说，大街上随便扔一块砖头，就能砸着一个经理甚至是总经理。可现在，大街上随便扔一块砖头，可能会砸着一个甚至是两个大学生。大学生遍地都是，整体素质却下降了，倘若现在有谁在大街上说自己是个大学生，人们一定会觉得此人脑子有问题，投来异样的感觉。

老家村子边上，新建了一所民办高校，学费自然是比公办的高出许多。可那些大学生们丝毫不珍惜，一到周末就坐上通往市里的公交车去城里吃喝玩乐，公交车上也不给老年人让座，只顾低头玩着手机游戏。

我所在小区附近也是一所民办学院，每到周末学生们似放风般出来消遣。树下的连椅上，男女学生情侣搂抱在一块卿卿我我，旁若无人；还有几个女孩子躲在假山下面吸烟。

这就是当代大学生吗？挥霍着父母辛苦挣来的钱，吃吃喝喝，谈情说爱，根本无心学习，毕业即失业。

三十年前，如果一个人朋友很多，人们都会羡慕，觉得这是一个乐于助人、有能力、值得可靠的人。可现在，若是一个人有许多朋友，跟谁都处得来，这样的人人们反而以为大抵是个小人。

为何会这样？因为三十年前的朋友是志趣相投、靠着人品走到一起，可现在，许多人是因为利益聚到了一起，可以说是臭味相投。也不排除见人说人话见鬼说鬼话，圆滑世故，表面上和谐得很。实则是，人与人之间缺少了真诚，只剩下利益交换和逢场作戏。

时代变迁，社会发展，可这样的现实到底由谁来买单呢？
