Once upon a time, there was an old man named Yugong. There were two big mountains in front of his house, one called Taihang Mountain and the other called Wangwu Mountain. These two mountains blocked their family's way out, making them have to take a long detour every time they go out.
Yugong looked at these two mountains and felt very unhappy. He decided to lead his family to move them away. His idea was ridiculed by many people, including his neighbor Zhisou— a wise old man. Zhisou thought that Yu Gong was too foolish. How could such a big mountain be moved? But Yugong firmly said, "When I die, I still have a son, and when my son dies, I still have a grandson. The number of descendants is endless, but the mountain will not rise higher. One day we will move the mountain away.”
So, Yugong led his family to start the arduous task of moving mountains. They use hoes to dig soil and dustpans to transport stones every day, day after day, year after year, without interruption. Their spirit moved the Heavenly Emperor, who sent two immortals down to earth and removed the two mountains.
This story tells us that as long as we have firm beliefs and unremitting efforts, there is no difficulty that cannot be overcome. The spirit of Yugong is one of perseverance and courage, which tells us that as long as we have goals and determination, we can overcome all difficulties and achieve our dreams.
从前，有一位老人名叫愚公，他的家门口有两座大山，一座叫太行山，一座叫王屋山。这两座大山挡住了他们家人的出路，让他们每次出门都要绕很远的路。
愚公看着这两座大山，心里很不痛快，他决定要带领家人把这两座大山移走。他的想法遭到了很多人的嘲笑，包括他的邻居智叟。智叟认为愚公太傻了，这么大的山怎么可能移得动呢？但是愚公却坚定地说：“我死了还有儿子，儿子死了还有孙子，子子孙孙无穷无尽，而山却不会增高，总有一天我们会把山移走的。”
于是，愚公带领着他的家人，开始了艰苦的移山工作。他们每天用锄头挖土，用箕畚运石，日复一日，年复一年，从不间断。他们的精神感动了天帝，天帝派了两个神仙下凡，把两座大山搬走了。
这个故事告诉我们，只要有坚定的信念和不懈的努力，就没有什么困难是克服不了的。愚公的精神就是一种坚持不懈、勇往直前的精神，它告诉我们只要我们有目标、有决心，就一定能够战胜一切困难，实现我们的梦想。
