হ্যালো বন্ধুরা
বারো মাসে এক বছর , প্রতি মাসেই আমরা একুশ পাই অর্থাৎ বারো মাসের মধ্যে প্রতিটি মাসেই আমরা ২১ তারিখ পাই ,তবে ফেব্রুয়ারীর ২১ তারিখ একটি ভিন্ন রকম একটি তারিখ। এই ২১ আমাদেরকে চেতনা শিখিয়েছে আমাদের মাথা তুলে দাঁড়াবার শক্তি যোগিয়েছে বিশ্বের দরবারে আমাদের অবস্থানকে দৃঢ় করেছে। আমাদের সম্মানিত করেছে এবং আমাদেরকে সর্বোচ্চ স্থানে স্থান করে নেওয়ার সুযোগ তৈরি করে দিয়েছেন।

বাঙালি জীবনে একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারির ভূমিকা বলে শেষ করার মতো নয় ।একুশ কে কেন্দ্র করে পরবর্তী যত সংগ্রাম আন্দোলন গড়ে উঠেছে। ২১ থেকে আমরা শিখেছি কিভাবে মাতৃভাষা রক্ষা করতে হয় ।কিভাবে ভূখণ্ড রক্ষা করতে হয় ।কিভাবে সার্বভৌমত্ব রক্ষা করতে হয়। কিভাবে নিজের অস্তিত্ব টিকিয়ে রাখতে হয়। একুশ না থাকলে বাঙ্গালীদের বীর জাতি হিসেবে উপাধি দেওয়ার মতো তেমন কিছুই থাকতো না বলে আমার বিশ্বাস। ১৯৫২ সালের ভাষাকে কেন্দ্র করে একটি জাতি নির্দ্বিধায় নির্ভয়ে রক্ত ঝরিয়ে দিতে পারে, তা বাংলাদেশ এ বসবাসকারী জনগণের দিকে তাকালেই বুঝা যায়। বাঙালির কাছে ভাষার মূল্য অনেক ,ভাষাকে ছিনিয়ে নেওয়ার বিষয় নয়।

বিশ্বের দরবারে এই ছোট্ট ভূখণ্ডকে সর্বোচ্চ স্থানে আসিন করেছে ।এই ভাষা আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে পৃথিবীর বুকে বাঙালি নামের যে একটি জাতি রয়েছে এবং বাংলাদেশ নামে যে,একটি দেশ রয়েছে তা বিশ্বের দরবারে পরিচিত লাভ করেছে। ভৌগলিকভাবে ছোট হলেও বাংলাদেশের মানুষের ত্যাগ এবং তিতিক্ষা অনেক। বাঙালি লড়াকুজাতি বাঙালি সাহসী জাতি বহুবার তার প্রমাণ মিলেছে।

একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি সমস্ত বাঙালির জাতিসত্তার পরিচয়। আমি নিঃসন্দেহে গর্ববোধ করি বাংলাদেশের জন্মগ্রহণ করে এবং বাঙালি হিসেবে নিজেকে পরিচয় দিতে পেরে। ছোট্ট একটি দেশে অবস্থান করেও বিভিন্ন কারণে বাঙালি জাতি বিশ্বের দরবারে বিভিন্নভাবে তাদের অবস্থান ধরে রেখেছে। অন্যায়কে না বলা, অপরাধকে প্রশ্রয় না দেওয়া বাঙালির একটি বৈশিষ্ট্য। আমরা অত্যন্ত ভাগ্যবান যে এত এত অর্জনের অংশীদার আমরা হতে পেরেছি ।আমাদের সাহস ত্যাগ ও তিতিক্ষার মাধ্যমে।
একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস পৃথিবীতে এত শত ভাষা রয়েছে তার মধ্যে বাংলা ভাষা আন্তর্জাতিকভাবে স্বীকৃত ,এটি আমার জন্য অনেক বড় পাওয়া ।আমি মনে করি ভাষার মাধ্যমে বাঙালি জাতিকে বিশ্বের দরবারে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। বাংলা কে বিশ্বের মানুষ এক বাক্যে চিনে।
যেহেতু, আমি একজন স্কুল টিচার তাই একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি আমার জন্য অন্যরকম একটি বিষয়। একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি মহান শহীদদের স্মরণ করার মাধ্যমে আমরা শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে দেশাত্মবোধ তুলে দেবার চেষ্টা করি এবং শহীদদের স্মরণ করার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করি।
একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারিকে কেন্দ্র করে আমার কলেজ প্রাঙ্গনে দেয়ালিকা এবং বিভিন্ন সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠান হয়েছিল। ভোর বেলায় প্রভাত ফেরিতে অংশগ্রহণ করেছে শত শত ছেলে মেয়েরা। প্রভাত ফেরির পর সংক্ষিপ্ত আকারে বক্তৃতা দিয়েছেন ।বক্তৃতা পর্ব শেষে সাংস্কৃতিক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়েছে এবং পুরস্কার বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।
আমি নতুন প্রজন্মকে সাধুবাদ জানাই তারা ২১ কে তাদের মনে অবস্থান করে রেখেছে ।তা না হলে এত সকাল বেলায় ঘুম থেকে উঠে স্কুল প্রাঙ্গনে আসার কোন প্রশ্নই ছিল না। সর্বোপরি আমি অভিভাবক বৃন্দকে ধন্যবাদ জানাই তারা তাদের সন্তানদের ইতিহাস সম্পর্কে সঠিক জ্ঞান দিয়েছেন এবং ইতিহাস সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত ভাবে তাদের মাঝে উপস্থাপন করেছেন।
আমার বিশ্বাস আগামী প্রজন্ম অতীত থেকে শিক্ষা নিয়ে দেশ জাতি ও নিজের অস্তিত্ব রক্ষার জন্য সর্বোচ্চ বিলিয়ে দিবে সেই কামনাই করি। আর আমি ও আমার শিক্ষাজীবনে বাংলা ভাষার সঠিক ব্যবহার প্রয়োগ করার চেষ্টা করব এবং শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝেও তা বোঝানোর চেষ্টা করব।
বাংলা ভাষাকে সঠিক ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে এবং বাংলা ভাষার সঠিক উচ্চারণ সর্বত্র ব্যবহারের মাধ্যমে মহান শহীদদের স্মৃতির প্রতি আমাদের শ্রদ্ধা জানানো হবে। ২১ একটি দিন নয় ,একুশ আমাদের সমস্ত জীবনভিত্তিক। সমস্ত জীবন আমরা বাংলা ভাষাকে রক্ষা করব ,বাংলা ভাষার সঠিক ব্যবহার করব সঠিক উচ্চারণ শিখব এবং বাংলা ভাষার মর্যাদা সর্বোচ্চ স্থানে রাখবো সেই প্রত্যাশাই করি আমি।
পরিশেষে আমি বলতে চাই 21 আমাদের প্রেরণার উৎস ।তাই একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি বাঙালি জাতি হিসেবে আমাদের কাছে অত্যন্ত গৌরবান্বিতএকটি দিন। সকলের অন্তরে একুশের চেতনা গড়ে উঠুক সেই প্রত্যাশা ব্যক্ত করে আজকের মত এখানেই শেষ করছি। মহান একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি আমাদের প্রাণে ধারণ করুক এটি আমি মনে প্রাণেই চাই।
১৯৫২ সালের ভাষা আন্দোলনে শহীদ হওয়া সমস্ত শহীদের রুহের মাগফেরাত কামনা করে আমি আমার লেখার সমাপ্তি টানছি আল্লাহ হাফেজ।
In a year of twelve months, we get twenty-one in each month, that is, in each month of twelve months, we get 21st date, but February 21st is a different kind of date. This 21st has taught us consciousness, given us the strength to stand up, strengthened our position in the court of the world. It has honored us and created an opportunity for us to take a place at the highest place.
The role of February 21 in Bengali life cannot be overstated. All subsequent struggles have been built around February 21. From February 21, we have learned how to protect our mother tongue. How to protect our territory. How to protect our sovereignty. How to maintain our own existence. I believe that without February 21, there would have been nothing to give the title of a heroic nation to Bengalis. That a nation can shed blood fearlessly and without hesitation over the language of 1952 can be understood by looking at the people living in Bangladesh. Language is very valuable to Bengalis, it is not a matter of snatching the language.
This small land has been elevated to the highest position in the world. Through this language movement, there is a nation called Bengali in the world and a country called Bangladesh has become known in the world. Although geographically small, the sacrifices and struggles of the people of Bangladesh are many. Bengalis are a fighting nation, Bengalis are a brave nation, this has been proven many times.
Ekushey February is the identity of all Bengalis. I am undoubtedly proud to be born in Bangladesh and to be able to identify myself as a Bengali. Despite being in a small country, the Bengali nation has maintained its position in the world in various ways for various reasons. Saying no to injustice, not condoning crime is a characteristic of Bengalis. We are very lucky that we have been able to be a part of so many achievements. Through our courage, sacrifice and perseverance.
February 21st is International Mother Language Day. There are so many languages in the world, among which the Bengali language is internationally recognized, this is a great achievement for me. I think that the Bengali nation has been presented to the world through language. People around the world know Bengali in one sentence.
Since I am a school teacher, Ekushey February is a different matter for me. By remembering the great martyrs on Ekushey February, we try to instill a sense of patriotism among the students and take necessary measures to remember the martyrs.
On the occasion of Ekushey February, a wall painting and various cultural programs were held in my college premises. Hundreds of boys and girls participated in the morning ferry. After the morning ferry, a short speech was given. After the speech, a cultural program was organized and prizes were distributed.
I applaud the new generation for keeping the 21st century in their minds. Otherwise, there would have been no question of waking up so early in the morning and coming to the school premises. Above all, I thank the parents for giving their children the right knowledge about history and presenting it to them in detail.
I believe that the next generation will learn from the past and give their utmost to protect the country and its existence. I will also try to implement the correct use of the Bengali language in my educational life and try to explain it to the students.
We will pay tribute to the memory of the great martyrs by using the Bengali language correctly and by using the correct pronunciation of the Bengali language everywhere. 21 is not a day, but our entire life. I hope that we will protect the Bengali language throughout our lives, use the Bengali language correctly, learn the correct pronunciation, and keep the dignity of the Bengali language at the highest level.
Finally, I would like to say that 21 is our source of inspiration. Therefore, Ekushey February is a very proud day for us as a Bengali nation. I am ending today's post here by expressing the hope that the spirit of Ekushey may be developed in everyone's hearts. I sincerely wish that the great Ekushey February may be retained in our hearts.
I conclude my writing by praying for the forgiveness of the souls of all the martyrs who were martyred in the 1952 Language Movement, may Allah Hafez preserve them.
