No, that's not winking! ☹️

Near my house there is a very big garden. This garden belongs to my neighbor, but wild cats always come to this garden and make life there. While my neighbor has a few cats, she always feeds the stray cats and takes care of them.

In the past few months, some cats have had kittens, and my neighbor is very dedicated to taking care of them and finding adoptive homes for them. My neighbor is a great lady!

This kitten is from the last litter. Strangely, the foreign cats gave birth to three kittens. That is a strange number.

Believe it or not, kittens need a lot of care and a clean place to live. Their little paws get full of dirt, and because they have needle-thin nails, it is easy to get small cuts while playing or scratching. I think that is what happened to this kitten's eye.

Fortunately, my neighbor took this kitten to the vet because he quickly developed severe conjunctivitis. He is already being treated with antibiotic ointment. If this injury had not been treated, this kitten would be blind in that eye.

There are still days to go for this kitten's recovery, but with my neighbor's care, I know this sweet baby will make it.

If there is a heaven where cats go, I know there is a special place for my neighbor when she leaves this physical plane. She is a woman of noble sentiments who cares for even wild animals without expecting anything in return. I admire this woman very much!

I hope this kitten's eye gets better so I can tell you that her eye is out of danger. See you next time!
