My Orange-Black Clam Top

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is well and in good health. Time is very fast,It's the last day of March 2025

Let me share with you the clam top I made following the tutorials of miss Kaye Estefanio in her youtube channel.

This clam top is started with chains. This is crocheted top down.

I have been doing this to on my vacant time at work. Crochet is my therapy, it makes my mind more relaxed from the stresses of life. I had been experiencing lots of stress and post-partum depression lately and the constant pattern and rhythm of doing crochet relaxes my mind and body.

I preferred crocheting on my free time than scrolling social media for a funny reason: I can't earn in social media. I tried recording me doing crochet and uploaded it in my youtube channel but the Internet connection doesn't work with me in uploading my videos; it's such a shame so I stopped doing it since it felt like I was wasting my time and effort

Some of my colleagues were amazed of my work, made me do things for them. I charged them very low and some of my works I just gave away whenever I am pleased with what a person is doing and whenever I feel that they are genuine on praising my work

I tried telling people to learn crochet for they can earn but they were not interested. Some says its too hard for them to learn. Well I respected their decisions and went my way. I just can't force them to do the things that they don't want and I would not buss anything as long as they won't stop me from what I was doing.

The pattern was easy, but a missed stitch will spoil your work. Luckily I did not frogged much on this project. Now that the top was done, I tried it on but it was too small for me so I gave it to my husband's niece who tends to my children when I am at work. And of course, I'm so happy she liked it. As soon as I handed her the top, she put it on and took a photo of herself and I also take a picture of her doing it.

Inday had been living far from us today and I miss her dearly. She transferred because she moved to another school and because her mother found a new home with her new husband and I am just glad that they are very welcome in the family and were loved as if he was their real father.
