A friendly football match

Few days ago when I recently joined a particular departmental WhatsApp group, the guys in the department said they will be playing football match with another department. This department is Animal Environmental Biology and they planned to play with Geology Mining Technology department. Arrangements were made and the guys started training for the friendly football match, they were very serious about it.

The made formations and also got their boots prepared for the match. The boys hired jerseys too and they were really organized. They were very optimistic about winning the match and I was curious to see how it will be. The match day finally arrived, that's was on the first week of February and the boys were fully ready for it. The told everyone in the department the venue of the match.

Their departmental girls were present to cheer them up and that was very nice of them, even the girls that doesn't like football at all, made out time to be present after lectures. The match started and the boys were doing very well, the whole place was so noisy and lively. The girls really played their part well and in the first half the Animal Environmental Biology department were winning.

The other department were frustrated and second half started. The defence of the boys was very tight and I was impressed by that. Yes before the match started pictures were taken but I didn't see any pictures of the opposing department. The match ended and the boys am with, won with a goal record or 4 - 1 The girls were so happy for them, hailing them and calling them sweet names.

The other department weren't happy at all and their girls felt embarrassed. When everyone went home the WhatsApp group was very noisy, everyone were talking about the match. The female course rep really surprised me that night, she decided to appreciate some of the boys that played the match, with something. That's so kind of her. They had another match again with the guys in Year 2 in their department and I will talk about it another day.
