Today sunny afternoon, just before I picked up my son from school, I decided to swing by the "Neko Cat Cafe", a charming spot near Rawai Beach. This place had become a bit of a regular haunt for me. It had this lovely pink decor that always made me feel relaxed and happy.

Surprisingly, I hadn't always been a cat person. But this cafe changed that. The cats here were just too cute to resist. They turned me into a cat lover, someone who couldn't wait to have a cat of my own. So, my family and I ended up adopting two of these furry darlings.

The "Neko Cat Cafe" was a cozy joint, and the best part? No entry fee! You just had to grab a drink or a snack, and you were in for a cat-cuddling session. Inside, there were sixteen cats in total, each with their own story. Most of them had been abandoned, but the cafe owner, a real sweetheart, had given them a second chance at a happy life.

Fluffy cats of all different breeds were on duty to give customers a warm welcome. However, one cat in particular seemed rather aloof towards the visitors. Instead, all the cats had claimed their favorite spots - some lounging on chairs, others nestled in cozy cat condos - paying no mind to my presence.

As I stepped into the "Neko Cat Cafe," it was empty of other customers. With the place to myself, I had the freedom to pick any seat I pleased. I settled in and signaled for my go-to drink - a comforting iced green tea adorned with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Its flavor was a delightful blend of sweet and aromatic notes, so much so that even the cats seemed enticed by its aroma.

So, I took their advice, sipping on the iced green tea with that delightful dollop of whipped cream, sealing it up tight to keep it safe from any feline intruders.

To share the love, I decided to treat all the cats to something special. The shop had a selection of cat treats and toys available for purchase. As soon as they caught wind of the tasty treats in my hand, the cats, who hadn't paid me much attention before, gathered around, a hopeful glint in their eyes, asking politely for their share.

Duty called, and I knew I had to face the rush-hour traffic to fetch my son from school.

Before departing, I decided to snap a picture of them as a keepsake. Cat photography, I discovered, could be quite the challenge. Some of the cats weren't exactly in the mood to cooperate, adding a touch of unpredictability to the process. Despite the occasional feline resistance, I managed to capture a few precious moments before saying my goodbyes.
