We are humans, the best creatures in creation. We are the most demanding creatures on earth. Maybe the great creator has arranged this earth so beautifully because of our needs. Almost all of the creations of the creator on this earth, including humans, are used or are being used for human needs. How beautifully the great creator is not meeting the needs of man.

আমরা মানুষ,সৃষ্টির সেরা জীব।পৃথিবীতে সবচেয়ে বেশি চাহিদাসম্পন্ন জীব আমরাই। হয়তো আমাদের প্রয়োজনেই মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তা এপৃথিবীকে এত সুন্দরভাবে সাজিয়েছেন।মানুষসহ এপৃথিবীতে স্রষ্টার যত সৃষ্টি আছে সেগুলোর প্রায় সবই মানবের প্রয়োজনে ব্যবহৃত হয় বা হচ্ছে।মহান সৃষ্টিকর্তা মানবের প্রয়োজন কত সুন্দরভাবেই না পূরণ করছেন।যেযুগে যে প্রযুক্তির প্রয়োজন সে যুগে সে প্রযুক্তির যোগান দিচ্ছেন।
আগেকার যুগের মানুষ কি কখনও কল্পনা করেছিল যে, এযুগে এসে ইন্টারনেট নামক একটি প্রযুক্তি আবিস্কার হবে,আবার যার মাধ্যমে পুরো দূনিয়ার মানুষ একসাথে কানেক্টেড থাকতে পারবে...?কখনই নয়।ইতিহাসের পাতা অধ্যয়ন করে জানতে পেরেছি, আগেকার বিশ্ব এখনকার বিশ্বের মত এতটা উন্নত ছিল না। আর তাই একটা বিষয় আমাকে অবাক করে দিয়েছে,তা হল মিশরের পিরামিড।
যেযুগে এই পিরামিড নির্মাণ করা হয়েছিলো,সেযুগে ক্রেন আবিষ্কারই হয়নি।আমরা কমবেশি সবাই জানি মিশরের সেই পিরামিড বড় বড় পাথরের খন্ড দ্বারা নির্মিত। কিন্তু ক্রেন ছাড়া এত বড় বড় পাথর কিভাবে এত উঁচুতে উঠিয়েছিলো সেযুগের নির্মাণ শ্রমিকরা...?এখানেই আমার চিন্তা।হয়তো সৃষ্টি কর্তা সেযুগের সেই পিরামিড নির্মাণ শ্রমিকদের ক্রেনের সাহায্য ছাড়াই বড় বড় পাথরের খন্ড অনেক উঁচুতে উঠানোর ক্ষমতা দিয়েছিলেন।যুগের ভিন্নতায় ব্যাপার স্যাপারগুলোতেও ভিন্নতা বিদ্যমান।
প্রাচীন যুগ ও আধুনিক যুগের মধ্যে এখন অনেক পার্থক্য লক্ষ্য করা যায়।আগেকার দিনে মানুষ গাছের পাতা,ছাল বা বাকল নিজেদের পোশাক হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতো কিন্তু প্রযুক্তির উন্নয়নে বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন স্থানে এখন গার্মেন্টস কারখানা নির্মাণ করা হয়েছে। যেখানে মানুষের চাহিদামতো পোশাক তৈরি করা হয়,এবং নিজেদের চাহিদা পূরণ হয়ে গেলে অন্য দেশে রপ্তানি করা হচ্ছে।
প্রতিটি দিন যাচ্ছে নতুন নতুন বিষয় আবিষ্কার হচ্ছে।যেগুলো মানুষের কল্যাণেই ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে।আর্টিফিশিয়াল ইন্টেলিজেন্সি এযুগের চমকপ্রদ এক আবিষ্কার। যেটা একজন মানুষের মতোই কাজ করতে সক্ষম।যেটি আধুনিক প্রযুক্তিতে বেশ সাড়া ফেলেছে। বর্তমান বিশ্বে আধুনিকতার প্রভাব এমনভাবে পড়ছে যে, গভীরতম সমু্দ্রের নীচতলায় কি আছে তাও পরিমাপ করা সম্ভব হচ্ছে।
আদিমযুগের মানুষগুলো কখনই হতাশ ছিলো না। তারা নিজেদের প্রয়োজনে বিভিন্ন বিষয় উদ্ভব ঘটিয়েছিল,যার ফল এখনও আমরা ভোগ করছি। কিন্তু আধুনিক প্রযুক্তিযুগের মানুষ হয়েও আমরা বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে হতাশ।হতাশা সর্বক্ষণ আমাদের গ্রাস করছে।
