Crossing the major road

Greetings everyone, yesterday was really a long day and am glad it finally ended. I hope for today to be better and far better than yesterday. Today am here to talk about another related situation and is all about the road. Whenever we go out to get somethings or we go to some other important place like school, church, mosque and so on, we always pass through the roads.

In every roads there's always cars moving on it and these cars and other vehicles are always driving with full speed, especially when they are on top flyovers where people are hardly seen walking. Pedestrians really need to be careful on the road at all times so that they don't hit by vehicles driving with full speed because as this always lead to death most times and no one is praying for such thing to happen to them or their loved ones.

I have always heard series of cases about drivers hitting pedestrians unexpectedly and these things happens most times when pedestrians are about to cross the road. We need to always be very careful whenever we are crossing the road. I learnt how to cross road during my primary school days and it wasn't a difficult thing, the only thing there was just for us to be obedient with the steps and never take it as an unnecessary thing because we don't know what can happen next.

We were told to always look right and left then repeat the same thing again before crossing the road and I was always doing this when I was much younger but now I only look once and not twice lol, maybe they told us that because we were very little then. This is why is not advisable for people to allow small children to cross the road alone. Old people are another set of people that aren't advised to cross the road by themselves.Thanks for reading.
