Hello everyone!

How are you today? I hope all went well in your side. Well, in my case I am a little stress because of our internet connection. The signal has been poor since the previous days so that's the reason why I only had little engagement here in Blurt. It's also hard to upload pictures when making my blog. Hope things go well in the next days.

My husband received his salary today. It's not big since he already made a cash advance last week so I had to budget the money he gave. I planned to buy the important ones for our daily consumptions.

At 4 PM, we walked to the market but before we could reach the market we pass by the fruit stall. I'm salivating seeing the durian but we don't have budget for it so all I could do was imagine the last time that I had eaten it. Have you tried eating Durian? For you, is it delicious or not?

This is the first stall we went to in the market. This is the same stall that I had shared in my other blog last two weeks ago (not sure with the date). We always went here whenever we would buy dried fish since their sold dried fish looks good and it's a little cheaper than the other stores. In the photo, the dried fish section wasn't included because there were some customers so for their privacy I didn't take photos of them.

Here's the dried fish that I bought. It cost Php100 or $1.71. This isn't one kilo though. I only told the seller that I wanted to buy dried fish that is worth 100 pesos so she weighed the dried fish that amounted to what I told her. After paying, we went to the stall beside it because I saw lots of vegetables displayed.

Sometimes this stall beside the first one don't have much display vegetables but this time they have lots of piles. They had eggplant, different kind of spices and other goods inside the store but only this vegetables are captured. If only I had more budget today, I would love to buy each kind of vegetables seen in this stall but since I don't have so I only bought ampalaya "bitter gourd" because that's what my husband requested.

I also bought cooking oil, chili, Japanese Ramen noodles and two eggs. The Japanese Ramen will be cooked for tomorrow's breakfast while the two eggs would be tonight. It will be mixed with the bitter gourd. Have you noticed the size of the egg? It's so small. I was shocked seeing how small these are. I wasn't used seeing this size of egg since I always prefer buying medium to extra large eggs. I also bought small eggs before if there were no available on those other sizes though. But this time, there's no other avaible size in this stall except for this size so I had no choice but to go for it.

Before heading back home, we went to buy feeds for our cat and for the pigeons because they didn't have food anymore. The pigeons who grow fast can now consume 1 kilo of feeds for two or three days only. For the cat, the half kilo will last for five days.

Here's the bitter gourd with egg that I cooked for tonight's dinner. I also fried some dried fish and we dip it in vinegar with chili on it. It's a simple yet very yummy dinner.

Our life here in the Philippines is just simple. Sometimes we face hardships in our everyday life especially when it comes to finances but we're trying to do our best to provide for our family. I always reminded myself that life may be tough today but it will not always be like that. Tomorrow is another day. A new hope to make life our better. Aja! Fighting!
