আজকে আমি আপনাদের সাথে যমুনা নদী ভাঙ্গনের কিছু ফটোগ্রাফি শেয়ার করব, এবং যমুনা নদী ভাঙ্গার পেছনে সমস্ত কারণগুলো উপস্থাপন করার চেষ্টা করব ইনশাআল্লাহ। নদীভাঙ্গা যদিও প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগ, কিন্তু কিছু সিন্ডিকেট কারীদের জন্যও এই ঘটনাগুলো ঘটতে পারে। গতকালকে যমুনা নদীর ভাঙ্গনের এই দৃশ্য আমি ফেসবুকে দেখে আমি নিজেই অবাক হয়ে গিয়েছি। সবেমাত্র চলতি বছর যমুনা নদী মেরামতের অনেক কাজ সম্পূর্ণ করেছে। বুলাক দিয়ে নদীর পাড় বাধাই করা হয়েছে।

হ্যাঁ এক বাক্যে সবাই বলে দিতে পারি যে, ঠিকাদাররা কাজ করেছে কিন্তু গুরুত্বের সাথে করেনি। এবং ঠিকাদাররা সিন্ডিকেট করেছে, যেখানে আরও মজবুত করে কাজ করার কথা ছিল সেখানে সেরকম মজবুত করে কাজ করেনি, তাই ধসে গিয়েছে। কিন্তু আমি বলব তা আমি আপনার সাথে সহমত। কিন্তু কোন সমস্যার সমাধান বের করতে হলে মূল সমস্যা কোথায় সেটি খুঁজে বের করতে হবে। অর্থাৎ আমাদের খোঁজ নিতে হবে কি জন্য এই বাধাই করা বুলাক গুলো ধসে গেল? গত কিছুদিন আগে এখানে ডেজার মেশিন বসিয়ে বালু উঠিয়ে সিন্ডিকেট কারীরা ব্যবসা করেছে।

সেই সিন্ডিকেট কারী বালু ব্যবসায়ীদেরকে অনেক নিষেধ করা হয়েছিল, কিন্তু তাদের ক্ষমতা বেশি থাকার কারণে কেউ আটকাতে পারেনি। তারা সেখান থেকে প্রচুর পরিমাণ ভালো উত্তোলন করে লক্ষ লক্ষ কোটি কোটি টাকা হাতিয়ে নিয়েছে। এই সিন্ডিকেট কারীদের জন্য আজ হাজার হাজার মানুষ একটি ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ অবস্থায় রয়েছে। আমাদের যাদের বাড়ি যমুনা নদীর কিনার দিয়ে, আমাদের সব সময় মাথার মধ্যে একটি চিন্তা থাকে সেটি হচ্ছে, কোন সময় নদী ভেঙ্গে যায়, কিন্তু সিন্ডিকেট কারীরা তো লক্ষ লক্ষ কোটি কোটি টাকা নিয়ে বাসাবাড়ি করেছে।

যমুনা নদীর কিনার দিয়ে অনেক বাড়িঘর রয়েছে, তাদের ভরাক্রান্ত হৃদয় নিয়ে যখন বলে আমাদের কি অবস্থা হবে যদি নদী ভেঙ্গে যায়? নদী ভেঙ্গে গেলে তারা কোথায় গিয়ে বসবাস করবে? কারণ তাদের তো বাসা বাড়ি জায়গা জমিন কেনার মত সামর্থ্য নেই। যদি সামর্থ্য থাকতো তাহলে তারা নদীর কিনারে বসবাস করত না। যখন নদী ভাঙ্গন শুরু হয় তখন দেখলে, আপনি অবাক হয়ে যাবেন, অনেক টুকু জমিন একসাথে ভেঙ্গে নদীর মধ্যে চলে যায়। কখনো কখনো এমনও হয় অনেকটুকু জায়গা নিচের দিকে ঢাবিয়ে যায়। তখন আমাদের আফসোস করা ছাড়া আর কোন উপায় থাকে না।

তাই আসুন আমরা নদীর ভাঙ্গন কবলিত মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ায়, তাদেরকে সহযোগিতা করতে না পারলেও কিছু সান্তনার বাণী শুনিয়ে দেই। এবং তাদের জন্য সর্বদা প্রাণ ভরে দোয়া করি, সৃষ্টিকর্তা যেন সকলকে নদী ভাঙ্গনের সেই প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগের কবল থেকে সকলকে রক্ষা করেন আমিন।

There are many houses along the banks of the river Yamuna, with their hearts filled with what will happen to us if the river breaks? If the river breaks, where will they live? Because they do not have the ability to buy land. If they could afford it, they would not live by the river. When the river begins to erode, you will be surprised, many pieces of land break together and go into the river. Sometimes it also happens that a lot of space is poured down. Then we have no choice but to regret.
So let us stand by the people affected by the river break, let us hear some words of consolation even if we cannot help them. And I always pray for them with all my heart, may the creator protect everyone from the natural disaster of river bursting, Amen.
