This is the beginning of October. It was a sunny day and I took my boat to go to beach.
The air temperature in Istanbul is around 25 degrees. The sea water temperature is still 22 degrees. Since the seasons have shifted, I can now swim in October. I broke the record by swimming in November last year.
The sea water was very warm today and I comfortably swam in this month. The beach was quite empty. In normal season, the beach belonged to the business and I had to pay a fee. This season I had the chance to walk on the beach for the first time.
I collected mussel shells on the beach. I will make a painting out of them and hang it on my wall.
It is quite peaceful to swim in these months. less people, less noise, more nature...
