Uncut water drops

Lately a lot of urgent matters have appeared that I am trying to cope with but they seem to be never-ending constantly some task appears... and it seems that it could be easier, press a button and get the result as they say in one old song but No.

As a result I already forgot the last time I saw the street and it’s not often that I get to look out the window but a few days ago I managed to do it and I decided to combine business with pleasure.

A few days ago my kids were playing with each other in a squirt war well the kind of squirts you use to moisten clothes when ironing.

One of the water sprinklers was on the coffee table and I decided to experiment with drops of water on the leaves of the plants that grow in the pots on our windowsill.

It was early in the morning and I didn’t want to wake anyone up, and my Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX300 camera was in a bag in our bedroom and on the same coffee table was my daughter’s Motorola E6S 4/64 GB smartphone.

I haven’t had a smartphone for several years now and I was completely unaccustomed to touching the screen and my fingers could hardly focus the camera but I tried to do something about it.

I began to carefully spray the leaves of the plants and tried to achieve neat drops of water.

Then I took photographs from different angles.

I wanted to compare photos of a smartphone and my camera but today you will only see the capabilities of a smartphone without photo editing and without built-in filters.

I don’t know why this is so, but the size of the photographs that the smartphone produced was 1280x960 pixels I would like to see a larger scale but then I’ll try to figure it out in the settings maybe it will work but for now just my experiment we’ll see what will happen.

On a smartphone when you try to focus, you get softer photographs so to speak but my camera gives a more realistic picture.

We can say that the 13 megapixel camera works well but personally I miss more precise focusing although sometimes it is not needed.

I would not talk about the quality of photographs rather it would be more appropriate to say that the photographs taken on this smartphone turn out to be interesting.

I'll hope that the damaged corner of my camera sensor won't darken the corner of the photo too much, but I'll find out when I transfer the photos to the computer and we can compare them with these photos of water drops on green leaves.
