The nymph Tettigonia viridissima?.

This question arose when I saw this insect.

That it was a nymph left no doubt.

There were no wings on the body of the insect.

But, friends, look. this creature lacks hind, powerful, pushing legs, like a grasshopper.

It was a cool September 2018 morning.

I took the kids to school and decided to check out one glade on the edge of town.

Then, one might say, I was just starting my way in the blockchain and was looking for suitable photographic material.

Autumn was early and the plants were already ready for winter and it was strange for me to see an insect, or rather a nymph, sitting on a dried inflorescence.

The nymph was motionless.

Morning coolness constrained her movements and I could examine her carefully.

I have not seen anything like this before.

Brown color, shapes resembling a grasshopper, huge antennae, but there were significant differences.

Look at the back pair of paws, which, we are used to seeing in grasshoppers, was simply absent.

This grasshopper looked more like a cockroach in limb structure than a grasshopper.

Then, and now, I could not determine the type of this insect, I voice, only, my guesses.

I hope that thanks to the Fascinating Insects community, this white spot in my knowledge will cease to exist.

I carefully examined that clearing, but I did not find there any more insects and relatives of this ghost.

Everything that happened was more like a mistake of nature than something natural.
