I have heard many times proverbs that say that haste does not lead to anything good, that everything should be done slowly, measuredly and thoughtfully.
Sometimes it is difficult to project this onto situations when haste is extremely necessary and there is absolutely no time for long thinking, for example, when a mosquito buzzes near your ear at night and you have to quickly slap it with your palm... but, admittedly, in doing so, your ear will also get a slap lol.
Snails have probably never heard such proverbs, but they are probably their authors to some extent, or co-authors.
Of course, we will never know whether snails have a desire to turn on the second gear of their transmission, but, in their own way, when they feel something tasty, they become more purposeful.
People have it simpler, it is easy to understand whether people have such a feeling as haste, it is enough to look at the lawns, on which there were trampled paths by people who could not afford to go around the lawn because of the haste lol.
