Silent spring.

This year was or is a very strange spring.

On the one hand you can see a lot of flowering trees which are very confident in hoping for a large harvest of fruit but this is too self-confident.

Yes, I couldn’t immediately understand what was missing this spring so to speak.

Visually it differs little from spring in previous years but it is too quiet.

Of course spring doesn’t scream it doesn’t host discos and karaoke but earlier standing under flowering trees you could hear the monotonous and strong hum that hordes of bees made with their wings.

There were years when you could find a bee flying past in almost any photograph but this year I didn’t see them at all.

Perhaps the reason lies in the fact that many people including beekeepers, left the country hiding from the war and as a result their bee colonies without human help could not get out of winter.

Someone should feed them in the spring and before that form and feed bee colonies in the fall.

The result will most likely be disastrous and unpollinated flowers will not form fruits and will only become extra garbage for street cleaners who will sweep the petals off the asphalt and send them to trash containers.

Such is the silent spring.
