I called this post "Puzzles of decision-making" for a very simple reason, sometimes, some decisions to start a business are like unfinished puzzles, when a person needs only one piece of the puzzle to see the whole picture, but it got lost somewhere and only by finding this piece, you can say that the puzzle is complete and there is a clear understanding of whether to do this business or not.
So without such a last piece, some decisions are better put on the shelf until you can complete this puzzle.
So, I talked a lot about fish farming, about whether it is worth digging a small pond on my land and starting fish farming.
In fact, I have no obstacles to this, since I have a land plot, I have experience and knowledge about breeding and growing fish, but. I had a feeling that I had to give up on this business completely, although this puzzle had not come together completely... although, no, yesterday I found the last piece of this puzzle and the solution was fully formed, this is a business that I will definitely give up!
You know, until yesterday I was like a bird that cannot swim, but stays at the water's edge, looking at seagulls that can both fly and swim...
So, yesterday, by chance, I saw a video message from a fish farmer who bought a plot of land with a pond dug there and next to it he dug another small pond.
He was happy for a while, because sturgeons were growing in the pond.
But now, an administrative case has been opened against him for causing harm to the environment, namely for changing the intended purpose of the land on which he dug the pond.
This was done by well-wishers, envious people, or someone else, it doesn't matter, this is something you don't want to experience.
Now he is facing colossal fines that will ruin all that joy.
This was the moment that fully showed me the correctness of my decision to give up fish farming as a life's work and hobby.
