In Ukraine and Moldova, in spring, there are a lot of dandelions, but I don’t remember that someone would cook varene from them.
I noticed a strange thing.
Many plants that are considered a delicacy around the world are considered garbage in these countries. weeds.
For example, all my life I have dug up and thrown from my garden a herb called purslane.
In my garden, he appeared very quickly and I often had to cultivate the land.
I did not know, like the majority of the inhabitants of Moldova, that purslane is a plant from which many dishes can be prepared, and the purslane itself is very useful and rich in vitamins and amino acids, for example - Omega 3.
It is believed that the carrier of the Omega vitamins is seafood and especially fish of the salmon order, salmon, chum salmon, pink salmon and so on, but it turns out that under my feet there was a whole ocean, lol, which I did not notice.
In Ukraine, in spring, birch sap is harvested, but in neighboring Moldova, many birches and maples grow, the sap of these trees is not collected, this is all strange and interesting.
On the one hand, people complain about small pensions and salaries, but on the other hand, they ignore the free gifts of nature.
Knowing about these sources of vitamins and nutrients turns a city dweller into a sniffer dog that notices everything lol.
This knowledge gives us the wings of freedom!
