Beautiful gum, no chance of cutting.
I live in an area rich in sunstone amber mined by prospectors in local forests.
Amber is the resin of coniferous trees that has been lying in the soil for many years. After a little processing it is used to make jewelry, but my post is not about it.
No less beautiful gum on cherry trees.
Look at this magnificence absorbing the rays of light.
Unfortunately or fortunately, this beauty will forever remain on the bark of the tree we will not be able to make jewelry and souvenirs from it.
The gum is soft fragrant and very sticky like epoxy before the fixative is poured into it.
As a child it was an excellent substitute for chewing gum but I don't remember which gum I liked more cherry or cherry gum.
Zoom in on a photo for a closer view.
I have never seen real amber before, only normal old tree sap. I used to like to collect tree sap and play with it, because it was so sticky, it was fun to stretch and stick to other things, it was like a natural glue to me. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, in our area there is a lot of both, but amber is inferior to gum in terms of taste :)
