Greetings friends of Blurtians! I'm Abraham Ledesma Ignacio, but Chino is my name. A Filipino aged 41, I presently live in Region IX in Zamboanga City. With all of you, I am new to this site and excited to share my experiences, interests, and travels. I am present here now since someone asked me to participate in this lovely platform. I'm new to article writing as well. To participate here Analyn Ledesma invited me.
I want it to inspire you; it tells of my resiliency. I think that no matter what life tosses our way - whether good or poor - there is always an opportunity to meet obstacles and fulfill our ambitions. It all about believing and making those courageous next steps. Allow me take you back to my university time. Balancing my education with an uncle-assisted employment, I was a working student. With tests approaching, I was squeezed. I lacked funds required me to pay for my tests with cash. I lost everything after a foolish decision let me to bet the tuition money. My uncle was very let down, but he still paid my test costs irrespective of his rage. Still, it was his last money for my schooling. That was when I stopped college.
I later discovered employment assisting with weddings, debuts, and other events as well as landscape décor for my uncle's company. I met the love of my life then, which is now my wife. Although we began cohabiting, I was concerned by my instability in employment and absence of higher education. Then she was expecting our first kid. It was at that moment I saw I had to change. Deciding to return to school, I hoped to give my family a more comfortable life. Re-enrolling to complete my degree and eventually seek a job in law enforcement, I had my wife's steady support. Furthermore, she returned to employment to support us financially. My mother looked after our kid while I studied and kept doing landscaping as well. Though difficult, it was a rewarding road.
At last, I got through college and passed the police officer assessment first time. Proudly I became a police officer after receiving instruction at the PNP. My wife, also a college graduate who went back to school, is now a licensed professional teacher and is presently sitting the bar exam to follow up a law degree.
This is me after the training center. First deployment.
My wife: Two kids. Training wraps up on this day. Graduate next from the training facility. This time I'm really skinny within the training center.
Every victory I have attained has depended in great part on my wife's unyielding support. With three lovely and well-behaved children, I am very thankful for our life's gifts. It shows that prayer is effective and that with God's help nothing is impossible.
This is my Family.
I am now a Police Staff Sergeant after being promoted in two years. All while using God's direction for my decisions and for our family, I hope to search for yet promotion in the next years.
