Hello! friends!I'm Analyn Torejas Ledesma, but you can call me Alyana.I'm a 33-year-old Filipino, currently living in Zamboanga del Norte.I'm new to this platform, eager to connect with all of you and share my experiences, passions, and adventures.
My story is one of resilience, and I hope it inspires you.I believe that regardless of what life throws our way, good or bad, there's always a chance to overcome challenges and achieve our dreams. It's all about having faith and taking those brave steps forward.Let me take you back to my college days.My parents were farmers and housewives,so I wasn't able to be a working student.During exam season, money was tight, and I needed a way to pay for my tuition.I approached my aunt, who owned a store, and asked if I could work there during my free time. She was kind enough to agree, and with her help,I was able to cover my tuition costs. In my third year of college,I met my now-husband. We decided to get married early due to financial difficulties and the challenges of continuing my education.
While my uncle was disappointed that I dropped out of college,I knew it was the right decision for our family at the time.Later,my husband and I both found work doing landscape decoration for my uncle's business, helping with weddings, debuts, and other events. We started living together, but I was worried about my lack of education and a stable job. Then,I became pregnant with our first child. It was then that I realized I needed to make a change.I wanted to provide a better life for our family,so my husband and I decided to go back to school. With his unwavering support,I re-enrolled to finish my degree and pursue a career in education. My husband also pursued his own career goals. We continued to work in landscaping while studying, and my mother helped us by caring for our child. It was a challenging but rewarding journey. Finally,I graduated college and passed the board exam on the first try!
My husband also completed his training at the PNP and proudly became a police officer. We both went back to school and achieved our dreams.I am now a licensed professional teacher, and he's also a licensed police officer. But I am not still waiting an item to teach in deped, but while waiting I am teaching as ESL TEACHER.We now have three beautiful and well-mannered children.
It's been an amazing journey, and I'm so grateful for the blessings in our lives. It proves that prayer is powerful-nothing is impossible with God's guidance.Today,I'm serving as an ESL teacher,a position I've held for five years now.In a few years,I plan to take the bar exam again, hoping for a second try at becoming a lawyer. All while relying on God's guidance for my decisions and for our family.
Thank you for reading my story.I'm excited to share more of my life and journey with you here on Blurt!See you all till next time!!
Love,
