In the month of September I rented the 1 room apartment am staying now and after that payment of my rent and acquiring my mattress I got broke and decided to stay in doors for a while to hustle for some cash by writing contents and promoting brands that pays me.
One day I came across the Solana Superteam Nigeria irl call post on a friend's X tweet and decided to attend the event and that was how my tech journey began.
The first time I attended the event I was very shy and quite minding my business and just observing the environment by paying attention to every details and after the event I got home and I told myself that growth is all I see and this is the right part to follow so I started preparing for the second edition.
The second time I attended the event I choosed to be a volunteer member and stood at the door welcoming people and tagging them with the tag items given to me and my partner at the gate before then I have said to myself that I must network and meet new people cause I've been hearing a lot about tech and networking.
After the event I met a man that changed the past 3 months of my life, we discussed about our ideas and created something we call Yello Street, a media brand that covers the tech stories for startups and pros.
After that event I got home freshing up and started doing some research on how to progress more, I have bills at hand and as a single dad I must work hard to give my child the life I have dreamt of so I began to go for more tech event and network so as to meet people like me and then one day I got a call from the man we had shared ideas to execute one of the ideas.
This is us at a tech event hosted by one of the biggest drone manufacturing brands in Nigeria and at the event we get to hold some interview sessions, pictures and learn about drones and their new Artemis OS that helps them to control their drones.
The event was a colorful and it was then I picked up my new career as a web3 photographer, I want to dedicate my time and life to something that's meaningful and I think it's the Blockchain for me. I don't understand web3 much but I love the concept and everything about it and since then I've been creating epic images and magics from a mobile device.
This is how the event looked like, it was one of the biggest in Port Harcourt this year and at the venue we had lots of amazing brands like the techrity, GDG and others and soon I know we will have blurt up there too as key supporters of web3 events and activities.
This is a drone created to help ease stress for farmers, this is designed to help carry items and can be controlled with a controller 🎮. I saw some amazing works and met some nice and cool persons during this event.
This is not a come back for me but trust me next year a lot of amazing things will hit us up.
See y'all on my next post cause I have lots of activities for the past 5 months of being away.
