This seems like a list of 1 item, stated in various ways over and over.
It's good that it works with beneficiaries now, although I never use that option myself.
How can we tell what old posts appreciator is supporting, and by how much? Is there more info anywhere that users can access, or do we just go by the comment left by the bot?

If you really want to know, you can check the operations on Blurt explorer or Ecosynthetizer, for example.
Every vote cast for an article after the time is also saved in the blockchain even after the settlement period.
You can also see on the frontend beblurt.com, although you won't see who voted last, but you can tell by the fact that the reward is 0 that the vote was cast after the settlement period.
Appreciator was not supposed to provide nicknames in principle, firstly because if they were written out, they would automatically call the given person, which could be annoying, secondly if it's one or two people, that's fine, but imagine that now one article gets 100 additional votes and they are all written out in the comment.
You can also view the current json file for the ranking:
https://blurtplugin.online/ranking
it changes as posts fall out of the ranking of course but all the details of who voted and when are listed here.
