Hello beautiful people. A relationship becomes meaningless when one partner is still thinking, talking or keeping in contact with his/her ex.
If you are still doing that in your current relationship, you are only been unfair and insensitive to your partner's feelings.
You have to come to a conclusion, to choose to go back to your ex or cut ties with him/her and continue with your current relationship.
It's not nice at all, sneaking around to take calls from your ex or replying your ex chats, doing video call day in day out, meanwhile you are now in a new relationship with someone else.
If you are sure within yourself that you are seriously and emotionally ready for that relationship, then their is no need holding on to your past. let your ex remain your ex for the sake of your new partner and the relationship and not loving with divided attention.
If you are finding it difficult to choose between your new partner and your ex, why not end everything about relationship for the meantime until you are emotionally healed and ready.
If you are finding it hard to cut ties with your ex, why not allow the current person you are dating to go and you go back to your ex?
If you still have feelings for your ex and you can't resist them whilst in a new relationship, just save your new partner the stress of not been led on, then in the middle you leave them for your ex. (it will be disheartening to them)
Your new partner should enjoy a new part of you and not fighting to recover you back from your ex, but if must sustain your current relationship, keep your ex at arms length, declare your stand and commit to the new relationship without bringing your ex to the picture.
NB; if you discover that your partner is still keeping in contact with their ex or keeps talking about them everytime. my brother, my sister, the message has been passed. at that point, you should allow them go back to their ex no matter the love you have for them. if not, you are the one to regret the whole thing, unless you are a soldier, ready to start fighting for love in your new relationship.
