Hello beautiful people. Pain is a sensation or emotion none of us ever like to feel because it is unpleasant in every sense of it, be it mental pain, emotional pain, physical pain or even “pocketic" pain (you know that feeling.)
However, our hurt and pain sometimes are pointers to the areas we're meant to bring consolation or liberation to our generation.
We've heard stories time, and again, for instance, great healing ministers who have shared how they had their fair share of infirmities growing up and it became one area they would go on to make a tremendous impact that transcended their generations and others still going on.
Kenneth E. Hagin was bedridden for most of his early life into his teenage, but when he got out of that condition, he made so much impact in various areas and, to a great extent, in faith healing.
John G Lake and others can be classified in this. Apostle Joshua Selman shares how he went through an embarrassing skin condition that caused him to be stigmatized, and thus, he feels the compassion of those in need of healing.
Some people became medical doctors because of sicknesses they or their loved ones experienced and they decided to help people in such conditions. Charity organizations/foundations have been founded based on many founders’ unique life experiences.
This is not only limited to the area of sickness and healing, for example, some people who go on to become financial giants and solution providers to the world SOMETIMES face harsh financial conditions early on. We can go on and on with multiple examples.
Our pain when channelled right becomes a trigger forddeep-seated compassion within us which words cannot fully articulate and that's where you can say “I went through this and I know how painful it is and by God's grace as long as I live I'll make sure as many as I can reach never have to go through the same cycle"
If you haven't felt a certain degree of pain in some areas, you can never really touch someone who is dealing with certain issues of life, and I believe that is why God sends us into various fields according to our respective pieces of training and preparation.
I pray the Lord helps us to channel our painful and hurtful experiences of the past and even present in the right direction so we can make an impact on our immediate surroundings and the world at large.
