Hello beautiful people. Perception, according to the Cambridge Dictionary, is simply a belief or opinion, often held by many people and based on how things seem at the moment or someone's ability to notice and understand things that are not obvious to other people.
Perception matters in life, especially as a believer.
The book of Jeremiah 1:11-12
“Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree.” “Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”

The scripture talks about perception and sight; to see is not just enough; are you seeing rightly? Will God say to you, thou has seen well? This is a question we should all ask ourselves. God expects us to see ourselves the way He sees us. He called us the Light of the World, the Salt of the Earth, that we are more than conquerors. He wants us to work in power and dominion.
With the activities and distractions in our world today it’s quite easy for many people to develop low self-esteem because they compare their lives with others or are moved by people’s opinions.
For example, a small-minded man can never dominate His sphere of influence until He renews his mind and thoughts. Only then can He achieve great and mighty things in His life. This is why we must constantly and consciously remind ourselves who we are in Christ.
He has made us King-Priest; He has given the earth to the Sons of men to dominate and subdue. You are ABBA’s child, hence you are made for greatness and nothing else.
When you begin to transform your mind and sight from the inside, it begins to reflect on the outside. You naturally attract favor and success. Once perception changes, it is seen in your reality.
The perception of a person can indeed be a stronger force than their actual reality.
If you give off a perception that doesn't match your reality, you will have to work twice as hard to either maintain it that's for people who live fake lives or work thrice as hard to erase it as for people who do not want to be associated with the reality they have created.
On the other hand, we all also live by the perception we have created in our minds. Small minds cannot host the great things God wishes to accomplish. Having a small or limited mind is a RISK.
