SAY YES, APPLY WISDOM AS WELL

Hello beautiful people. "Your life is a canvas, waiting for the brushstrokes of purpose, passion, and meaning. Don't let society define your path, don't let fear dictate your choices. You have the power to create your own destiny, to write your own story. Define your values, define your goals, define your dreams.

Take control of your journey, take ownership of your life. You are the author of your story, make it a bestseller!"

Yes, you can turn your dreams into reality. Yes, you can overcome obstacles and rise above challenges. Yes, you can learn, grow, and become the person you aspire to be. Yes, you can make a difference, leave a mark, and create a legacy. Believe in yourself, your abilities, and your potential. Embrace the power of positivity, resilience, and determination. Remember, the only limits are those you place on yourself. So, say yes to your goals, yes to your dreams, and yes to your future. Yes, you can, and yes, you will.

Now here is an example.

My younger cousin got 6 million as an inheritance from his late mother last year. When he told me about it, I adviced him to use one million and go back to school cause he dropped out in his final year, clear he’s results and go for youth service so he proudly say he’s a graduate. Then use one 1m to buy a plot of land that will appreciate over time. Put the remaining 4m on fixed deposit, since he’s not so business oriented and enjoy the interest

While at youth service, he should survive with his 33k allowance like others and plan on what business he has interest in after NYSC. Well, I didn’t know that my advice fell on deaf ears , because in less than 1 week

He bought a car, not just any type of car but a highlander for 4.5m

I think he used about 500k for refurbishments of the car (fixing it to he’s taste). He also moved from he’s one room self contain apartment to a nicely furnished 3 bedroom. He became a big boy and got a lot of attention from the opposite gender. Within four months he’s car had a gear box issue which costed over 500k. Other issues came up that he had to sell the car for 1.9m
From that 1.9m, he didn’t lower he’s standard. He continued enjoying he’s fresh boy status. Now, the money is remaining 200k

He called this morning to ask I give him business ideas and claimed he wants to be serious with life this time.

Many of us have been in these shoes, maybe not the amount he had, but we also didn't really do anything with the money. Perhaps we told ourselves the 150k was too small to do anything, so we bought a phone with it, lying to ourselves that we would use the phone to make money online. Till today, there is nothing to show, no money left either.

Then there are those who think money will always come. God gives seed to sower and bread to the eater.

Some of us are currently in these shoes. We have the money, but we have been planning for ages on what to do with the money. From planning, we have started using the money "small small." If we are not careful, we will squander it too and have nothing to show. And because we will not know, you will pretend nothing happened.

There are some who will have this opportunity in the near future, and still not utilise it after reading and laughing at this guy.

In 2021, I fixed a young mentees' name for COVID-19 'loan'. Our monies came the same day, 24th December. I asked her to give me hers to help her buy a land because that's what I was going to do with mine too. She was just 21. My thoughts were that, she was yet in school because of some delays so by the time she's done with school, the land would have appreciated and she will cash out to invest in something she wanted. She refused. Gave the money to another pastor who told her he will invest in farming for her. I asked her last year December (2 years later) about the farm? She said the man said...blablabla...stories.

That money is gone. Even if it hasn't, it hasn't grown. There is no interest in it. The money was 300k plus. It will remain 300k plus. But of course, I saw her bank statement. She had spent about 100k by the time we sat to have an account check.

I bought a land with mine, two years later, one woman was begging me to sell for 1m, I refused. Land in that area, the least, is 1.5m. I will sell only for that amount upwards. Currently, I cultivated yams and cassava on it.

Don't be too quick to laugh at people who have squandered money. You never know until you have it. Money has a spirit. It can even develop wings and fly away. You need financial discipline to tame it. You need to learn delayed gratification and taming appetite for getting-rich-quick schemes, wear, and gadgets. You need to behave as if you never had the money. Put it somewhere and 'let go'.

That's the only way to survive the temptation to spend money.
