Hello beautiful people. There was a time I had a discussion with a school owner. She had complained that there were two believers in her school, that though they are good, honest and truthful but their work performance was low.
She said, they always preached to the children, taught them some Christian songs but she wasn't comfortable with the work, one of them was very lazy and would be reminded severally to submit her lesson plan/note.
At some point she had to let them go because though morally and spiritually right, work ethics and commitment to work was zero.
Now this is unchristian.
Whatever we do, we must always strive to be the best at it. Yes everyone knows you are a honest person, but you are always late to work. Yes, you will not steal, but you are not adding anything new to your work, no skills no nothing.

You sing in church, you're always drinking and eating stuff that are not healthy for your voice, when you start singing, your voice starts cracking and all.

Someone gave an example of Prudence organizing retreats after training, but she couldn't have gotten to this point, if she didn't become excellent at her craft. As believers and children of God, we have no business being at the bottom of our businesses and careers. Be honest, be kind, be truthful, preach the gospel and in addition be the best at everything you do, produce.
And the good thing is, the EBENZER is our Father and He can help us as we also put in the work to become the best at everything we do and give Him the best of everything we produce.
