I know a set of orphans whose Father is alive.
Whose scriptures have become sepulchres of forgotten rights and responsibilities.
They can't recall how they won at Calvary.

They call themselves Christians
But are now victims of bequeathed victory.
Wasters of The Blood!
Wallowing in the darkness of their own light.

They misconstrue the template:
Praying in spirit, understanding at heart, tools in hand.

They groan in gymnastic prayer postures
While holes and cutlasses rust
What implement will harvest the fortunes called forth in the spiritual gymnastics?
When shall he take a stand where he's seated far above his demons?

I have seen a well beg for spittle
I have seen an elephant eat like an ant
I have seen a village adopt a country
I have seen a life lived like it's dead
I have seen a man of 'God' carry his god in his pocket
I have seen a Christian!

I have seen why he fails:
How do you reap when you haven't sown?
How do you sow when you have eaten your seeds?

By principles does the children from Esau's slum look healthier in wealth than the sons of Jacob's womb

There's a time to sow
A time to reap
If you pray when you should be sowing
You will reap tears when you should be eating.
