THE ART OF FOLLOWING 2

in blurt-131902 •  3 months ago

Hello beautiful people. My mentor use to tell me those days "Be a follow follow" till you get your identity. Some of the ways my organisation, the Luminary360 Hub is run is by copying. When I see something somewhere that is great, I copy it, repackage it and implement it. Recently, we had a restructuring, and the template for that was influenced largely by my workplace. I saw the way the structure was and decided it was a great idea to make things more simpler and more excellent

KEYS IN FOLLOWING

  1. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
Before you start following someone, you must know what you want. Answer these questions:

A. Where do I want to go?
B. What do I want to become?
C. What do I want to learn?

Answer to these questions helps you take your mind off the person's errors and focus on what you want to get or become. Even when the person is annoying, you remember why you started.

  1. IDENTIFY SOMEONE YOU WANT OR HAVE TO FOLLOW
After you have known what you want to learn, become, or get, you look around or pray to know who has what you need.

Many people are following people they just admire and are not seeking or learning anything from them because they never defined what they wanted or needed from the start.

Think of the person you are following, what do you want to learn from the person or organisation?

  1. DECIDE AND START FOLLOWING, EITHER FROM DISTANCE OR FORMERLY.

The art of following must be a deliberate decision, not a happenstance. Even if you find yourself in a place you didn't plan for, you will need to make up your mind on what you want to learn in that place because nothing happens by accident.

NEVER WASTE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES. THERE IS A REASON FOR THEM.

  1. FOLLOW THE PERSON'S TEACHINGS
A lot of people make the mistake that if they follow someone, they must have direct contact with the person. You can follow someone by the teaching you have of them. If they are speakers, teachers, preachers, etc. Get those teachings and listen to them. That is a very profound way of following, too.

If someone says he follows me and sees this class and is not eager to be here, neither is the person here. The person is wasting their lies. Someone of you want to follow Apst Arome, but you hardly hear his teachings. You just want to be close.

  1. FOLLOW DELEGATED PERSONS.

If the person you are following assigns someone to give a responsibility, you better obey that person. Many people respect only leaders, and despise those they send. If I delegate someone to do something and you despise that person you have despised me. You're a bad follower. Don't let pride kill you.
