I have been away for a while due to sorting out some issues, but by the grace of God, I'm well and okay.
Well let us take a moment away from our regular from our regular book review Post.
Technology is something that we have known to be evolving rapidly .
With major tech companies, countries trying everything possible to achieve supremacy thereby Leading to increase in the sophistication of the already available technologies and smart innovation.
So I came across a post about "Dark factory" , I was shocked because this was actually my first Time of hearing about such a word . So I decided to make my own research, and wow, I was really surprised at what I saw and was like, have technology gotten us this far ?.
What is a Dark factory ?
A dark factory is ,Is a factory that is fully automated, works 24/7 without human involvement.
This means that it is a factory that has zero human labor. See it as a factory were labourers are all replaced by humans.
It leverages on AI , automation,5g , and IoT to carry out all activities.
China are currently the frontiers of this dark factory era , which is considered as a shift from a human dependant factory to fully automated and human independent manufacturing.
Although, it has been shown that when this is fully achieved, their will be decrease in labor cost, maximization of profit, and production.
But a serious problem which I believe will be a major concern is the displacement of labor.
