I am here to share with you my new portrait drawing of a famous Nigerian musician ,Erigga.
I happen to be one of his fan over here in Nigeria,and so I was just checking some of his post on Instagram , then I saw this post on his page,although it took me 3 days to finish the drawing ,cause I needed the drawing to look exactly like him,and I believe nothing is impossible to do,In as much as dedication and perseverance is put in place.
Materials needed;
.A cardboard
.Three graphite pencils
.Four color markers(Pink ,yellow,blue,red)
.An eraser
Here are some process shots;
I wasted time on the hair ,I had to leave it for sometime,you can see I erased the drawing the hair ,many times.
I made use of a pink color maker,for the hair tinting and as usual a graphite pencil for the hair texture.
I made use of agraphite pencil (the one with blue colour on the body)for drawing the eyeglass,and darkening the eyeglass lenses.
I used the yellow bodied graphite pencil for darkening the face.
I used a yellow,blue and red color marker for painting of the cloth.
