...that I'm now hearing about! I actually got the notice a month ago, but I only now saw it as I noticed that my #Steem wallet received some Steem, so I checked out why, and so here I am... or rather here I've been since this place was first created, but I'm only now actually occupying the platform properly!
On the plus side, it did introduce me to #WhaleVault, so now I can manage this account, my Steem account, my #Golos account, and my #Hive accounts (#StormkeeperSMDK being the other, but I have no Steem presence with that account, hence why there is no account anywhere else) from the one Chrome app, although at the same time, the interface is a little more... rudimentary, so I can't see my balances and other statistics, but if it helps me manage my STEEM/STEEM-adjacent accounts better, I shan't complain too much, as it will save me on resources, as well as also making it a bit easier to organise recover my accounts later on when it comes to sorting out within a browser!
Anyway, this will be the only post on here for a little while, but I will try to set up a system where I update this place as well, on top of HIVE and Steem, and WordPress, seeing as I'm really having to manage additional platforms; I don't want to leave this one idle or completely abandoned, as I like to make sure that anything with my name on it is under my control one way or another!
In any case, consider this a semi-introduction post as well as a statement of intent of sorts, but if you want to see my older posts, check out @StormkeeperGU on Hive, or if you must, Steem. I'll try to make things on here in line with my other two accounts, just so there's a bit of consistency across the board.
As always, watch this space for updates.
PS: It costs crypto (rather than RP) to post on here? Eh, that's not the worst thing, but it does mean I need to better manage my resources on here, especially if it's going to be like Twetch! I'll have to start condensing all my smaller posts on here into larger ones, if not outright change my blog posting strategy! Eh, I guess it's time to do something like that anyway!
PPS: Seems it costs more per size of the post, so that means I need to think even further. I may actually have to keep these posts cut-down with a "read more" link if the posts exceed a certain point, though that said, I'm not expecting much visibility on here, so really that's the best option, seeing as otherwise, I might run out of crypto trying to keep this account's pace up with the other two, but I will think of something!
PPPS: I don't intend to make it a habit to have my posts being too long on here given how it all works, but it looks like I'll spend almost 1 BLURT posting this introduction post, so I'm definitely going to have to aim for 0.5 BLURT per post max, though at the same time, post rationing will have to happen on here, as let's face it, I probably won't make enough on my posts to post more than once a month at this rate, so I may just have to do summary posts and point to my other platforms instead of writing a full-length post on here, so for now, don't expect much activity on here, when it costs a fair bit and I currently haven't provisioned enough money to purchase enough BLURT to cover a typical year's worth of posts; it's definitely making me consider how frequently I'll post on here, and how large each post will be, though I could end up not updating to this account, as it may literally not be "worth it" for me to do so... what else do you have to pay to do after all?
I'm really done on this post now though.
