River water is more effective than ground water for irrigating crops.

It has been raining occasionally since a few days ago. Jodi is also a very sunny day. So the temperature is high. Due to rain water, the yield of green crop in the field will increase. However, many times the land is irrigated using ground water. In that case tube well machine is used more. Diesel oil is commonly used as fuel in such machines.

However, I do not support the use of such machines. This is because using these machines is detrimental to the environment and costs a lot more.

Bangladesh is a riverine country, the number of rivers is much higher. So river water would be a good material for irrigation work, I believe. Such as GK Irrigation Project and Teesta Irrigation Project are important means for irrigation in many parts of Bangladesh. Using river water will reduce costs and increase crop production.
So many more irrigation projects need to be launched.
