Whats popping?
As I have this days been on a trend of avatar designs for fun and for friends. Did one for Kai, Firdaws and recently mine. And now trying to do for Ella.
Which was tasking as my friend doesnt have anythinf specific in mind.
This image summerize the journey it took😅. Am not a professional artist I could always draw and am now trying to build my skills on digital art.
With this model my friend wanted it to look more like her. So a 3D model was opted for. I did one but IT didnt look closely enough.Then I took a photo and did few visual edits where i increased the size of the eyes. Reduced the nose and mouth. Artistically thats the difference between an actual face and cartoon version or 3D model of it.
It would fit quite well with most costumes but the down side was i wasnt yet good with full body 3D models clothes designs so it would be more of a cut and paste senerio. And to mention the hair is a hairstyle of Ruby Rose from the RWBY series.
To sort that issue out a 2D anime like version was used which she finally agreed with after seeing the model of Firdaws.
And this is the design done to atleast bear even a slight resemblance.
And the rwby hairstyle was used as well.
Here it fits more with the 2D model since I drew the hair kinda inbetween 2D and 3D too.
Ella is one indecisive friend I have. After asking for Ruby's hair she now says she doesnt want to look like anyone. And till now cant come up with a hairstyle she wants
This was proposed, it is wackie i could have done better. Esp orange with black skin would look better with a better hairstyle. Though this is coming second to last but its actually the last design I thought of when I wanted to change things from the green.
Finally the decided look which is the green hair😂😂. I asked her severally what color and style she was unsure and said my pick so fine then I did my pick with green. she didnt like the green but just decided to roll with it pending till she can think of one and I change
So that's the journey to this avatar design
