The arrival of Group of Twenty (G20) delegates from various countries and financial and global institutions in Jakarta was treated to various works of art and culture at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
At the 2022 Indonesian Presidency, participants will attend two meetings, including Finance and Central Bank Deputies (FCBD) on February 15 - 16 and finance ministers and central bank governors (FMCBG) meeting on February 17 - 18. The total delegates were physically present 169 people, while 216 attended the meeting online.
Welcoming the delegation, Soekarno-Hatta Airport collaborated with the All Indonesia Liaison Government Communication Forum (FORKAPPSI) to showcase and introduce to G20 delegates various crafts and cultures from 34 provinces in Indonesia. "We are grateful for forKAPPSI's support in supporting Soekarno-Hatta Airport in introducing various crafts and cultures from 34 provinces to the G20 delegates. This area to showcase art and culture is on track for the arrival of the G20 delegates. The delegates also look very interested in seeing the crafts from these 34 provinces," said Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Agus Haryadi, Thursday (17/2). Indonesian crafts and culture were shown to the G20 delegates at Terminal 3, among others, various fabrics from regions in Indonesia as well as various native Indonesian handicrafts such as bamboo webbing, wood carving and so on.
In November 2022, there is planned to be a cultural arts performance in the international arrivals area of Terminal 3 to specifically welcome the G20 delegates. "Through collaboration with FORKAPPSI, Soekarno-Hatta Airport carries out its role as a storefront of Indonesian art and culture in welcoming the G20 delegates. We also strive to always maintain the standard of service to all airport visitors and aircraft passengers, including to all G20 delegates," agus said.
