My control comment (on another post so it doesn't get voted on) is at 52.863, so it already appears we can say votes have an impact on other votes! I wonder how strong the effect is?

It proves it is better (in terms of your vote size and curation rewards) to vote on popular posts. Comments (and unpopular posts) don't get many other votes, minimizing the impact of yours. Most people feel it's better to curate based on the quality, originality, and usefulness of the content, rather than for financial reasons, but I think it's still useful to understand how things work so we can make informed decisions about voting.
Thanks for this conclusion. I will keep this in mind. Do you have other experiment?
