When I was a kid, I used to tend our farm animals not because I like it, it was because my parents made me do it. I didn't appreciate the lesson of farm life until I was a bit older. And it's the fact of life that kids do rarely appreciate the upbringing of their parents at a young age. I then realized that those training of tending animals has mold me into more loving person towards animals, it maybe of pets animals, farm animals or the wild one. I just tend to love and appreciate even the smallest insects the creeps upon the bush.
While I have loved living in the cities for the reason that everything is accessible, more jobs opportunities which is appealing about city life, but there is something special about the experience of growing up a farm kid. I have this itching to do something to be connected not just with forest but also with animals. I find them very therapeutic and I feel so much better after interacting with animals. So I'll be sharing to you the moment we had, along with my sister when we escaped from the city and interacted with this adorable cuties in Rabbiton farm.
It was sister's first time visiting in this place and it's a sort of surprised for her, I love to surprise people! When we were there, we feed them with those special weeds edible for the rabbits. They were placed in a special garden, which have many tiny holes on the ground, you know rabbits they like to dig up and make burrows.
The landscape were impressive while the rabbits looks super tiny and cute hiding beneath the ground. They also made a miniature house for them that look so neat. There were different breed of rabbits in that farm, some are common breed while the rest I'm not familiar of.
Some rabbits were very playful and loved to be cuddled, some were hostile maybe because they hardly have time to interact with people. Good thing was, the care taker didn't mind us feeding those pets and they let us enjoyed our time. Are you an animal lover? One thing is for sure, on the farm, we learned about loving and respecting animals even wild animals. They are not only therapeutic, they also deserve to be loved!
That's all folks. See you in my next blog!
