Hello friends, how are you today and I hope we are all in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

Before I continue discussing the images that I have prepared, it would be good for me to convey my words of respect to all my friends wherever they are and wish the best for all of us. OK Friends, let's look at the pictures that I have prepared.

So today, April 21 2024, I am very happy to be able to meet small children who are bathing in the irrigation cheerfully and happily. They looked so cheerful and full of energy while playing in the hot sun, the innocent smiles of the little children made the atmosphere brighter and more fun. My friends and I felt entertained seeing them, who seemed to never know tiredness or worry. My friends and I mingled with the little children by sharing laughter and joy. I felt like I was back in my childhood, where happiness can be found in things. as simple as playing and bathing in irrigation water.

After they finished playing in the water, my friend and I decided to invite them to sit on the edge of the irrigation to rest for a while. While sitting with them, we shared stories about their school. Friends and things that are their favorites. Some of them talked about their dreams and aspirations for the future, some wanted to become soldiers, doctors, engineers and even successful entrepreneurs. Hearing their dreams makes me touched and enthusiastic to support them in achieving these dreams.

The irrigation in my photo is irrigation left over from the Dutch colonial period in our country, Aceh. This irrigation was created by the Dutch at that time for the purposes of growing various types of plants such as coffee, tobacco and spices which were the mainstay of Dutch exports at that time. This irrigation not only functions as an agricultural means, but is a silent witness to Aceh's long history during the colonial period. Even though it is hundreds of years old, this irrigation still functions well and is an integral part of the local community. Even though the colonial period has long passed, traces of history such as irrigation continue to be guarded and cared for by the people of Aceh, part of the cultural and historical heritage that deserves to be preserved. As well as a reminder for all of us about the struggle and adaptation of the Acehnese people in facing various changes throughout the ages.
