Planting union and garlic

With @outlinez we spent this Saturday in our garden planting onions and garlic.

Last year we planted them in late autumn, but this time we preferred to do spring planting - as early as possible. Now, at the beginning of February, the weather was favorable and the phase of the moon compatible with planting root crops.

When we planted them, we mulched the beds and sprinkled them with ash.

While we were doing the work in the garden, Maggie the cat was constantly around us and curiously followed our actions.
