After yesterday's cold, sleety and hard trail run I was ready to ease back a bit with a shorter road loop today - no need to over-extend myself just a few days from my 24 house.
I wasn't expecting such a good pace (although the route is mostly flat and the down/up grades to Prescott Center aren't very steep so I was cruising nicely and feeling very good. They only annoying aspect of running into the city was having to stop and wait to cross several busy intersections and the generally heavy traffic and lack of interesting scenery.
Oh well, almost 6 strong miles that didn't feel too difficult so that was great. Now just to run well this weekend in New Mexico.
