I was happy to wake up this morning with only a few aches and pains from my fall on the trail yesterday but I decided to play it safe and stick to running on the easy roads until after my ultra - no sense to risk further injury at this point.
My left knee is pretty cut and scraped up but it was only just a little bit sore as I slowly started off my run along my morning loop route.
Once I turned and was heading back towards the town the road was now flat to slightly downhill so my pace picked up nicely and the effort was a lot easier.
I tired a bit around 5 miles as I began the return leg home and the road started it's easy climb but I finished up well and now I can begin to plan for my run at the end of the month.
