I eased back on my running intensity today with a longer (but flat and easier) run over on the Peavine Trail this morning.
I'm continuing to use red light on my thighs during my rest time and I'm hoping that combined with my TENS/EMS will help my muscle recovery faster.
The first mile was pretty slow as my legs gradually loosened up and when I had reached my turn around spot I was feeling much better and my stride was perfect for a long run.
I began to run out of gas at the very end but I was able to push hard to the finish.
Lulu and I finished up the day with an easy 2 miles over at Granite Basin to get out into the cooler forest. Lulu had fun looking for squirrels and I stretched out my legs. Nothing difficult but every extra step is beneficial for me.
