My Actifit Report Card: August 5 2024

I surprised myself with a great trail run over at Granite Basin this morning - I felt very good and covered almost 5 tough trail miles in warm and muggy conditions 👍👍👍.

Lulu was very unhappy that I left her behind for mu run but we had already done our morning walk so she had gotten some good exercise and I would take her over to Lynx Creek later for a bit of hiking.
There wasn't much going on over in the Basin and I was the only person out on the trails.

The first mile or so was tougher than the rest so my pace wasn't too fast bit my legs and body felt good and I was able to pick up the pace after that. The trailbI took was new for me and although it had a fee short climbs it was very good overall and easy to follow.
The second half was mostly horse trail and some pavement sections so it was smooth and wide which allowed me to move faster and concentrate on my running before hitting a more technical bit to finish up.
