My Actifit Report Card: December 1 2023

Well December is here with sleet and rain to end my day on a damp note but Lulu and I got to have a good time prospecting over on the old gold dredge tailings on Lynx Creek with a couple of our buddies.

A cold and damp start for our morning walk with rain overnight and the cold and damp persisting for us.
No one wanted to be out walking it seems and Lulu wasn't really interested in checking all of the smells so I got to move along quickly for a change.
Then it was off for the short drive across town to Lynx under still cloudy skies. We hiked along the creek for a little bit before playing in the dirt.

Tired and dirty after a few hours but some nice big flakes of gold for my efforts.
My late afternoon walk ended up only about 3 miles long as the sky filled with black clouds and I began to be pelted with a nasty sleet and rain mix. A quick turnaround to home to finish up a bit wet and cold but at least a rainbow 🌈 greeted me there.
