Happy Halloween Everyone,
I’m back with another Actifit Report and Update. I’ve been busy working on my book. I’ve completed one round of general content editing. I was focused on story consistency. It went pretty well. There were very few problems. I’ve also completed most of the pictures and I have inserted them into the first draft. I have included more pictures for this book than the first one. AI has helped make that possible.
I expect to start publishing chapters on my @captainhive account in November. I will try to post two chapters a day for around two months. The book should be published on Amazon as an ebook in January. This will be approximately one year after the first book.
On Hive, I published just one post this week. It was my Sapien Loop Quiz. It is the seventh quiz of the year. Like the previous quiz, it includes questions from the whole book. So far, the response has been slow, but this is likely to be because of the scope of the quiz. I expect to see several late entries.
Next week, I’ll post the results of the quiz. I’m also planning a quick post on the upcoming US Presidential Election. It has been a strange run up to it. It’s definitely worth discussing. It is one of the most significant events around the world.
Halloween
It’s Halloween today. I haven’t done anything particularly special. Just a few plastic pumpkins around the place, see picture above with the dogs. I spend Halloween at home watching scary movies and dishing out sweets and candies to the trick or treaters. We normally have lots of children knocking on the door. I have two tubs ready for dishing them out.
We normally have lots of fireworks going off all over the neighbourhood. The dogs get a bit scared and Hamlet the happy pig is annoyed by them. I don’t expect as many going off this year. Last year was crazy. Fireworks were going off every night for weeks before Halloween and they were going for hours on the actual night. This year, hardly any have been set off in the lead up. I think people don’t have the money to spend on them this year.
